DESTIHL was founded on the promise of supporting flavor and boycotting bland.  We opened our first gastrobrewpub™ (DESTIHL Restaurant & Brew Works)
in Normal, Illinois, in November 2007. A second location in downtown Champaign, Illinois, was later added in April 2011. Our 
production brewery (DESTIHL Brewery) was established in 2013 in Bloomington-Normal, Illinois
to brew beyond the confines of typical beers.
Our team combines centuries-old global brewing traditions and new American craft brewing ingenuity & artisanship to produce a wide array of beers for every palate. We brew more styles of beer because we have a passion for brewing 
and because you have a passion for unique, craft beers. The result is a diverse offering of intensely flavorful beers that are anything but bland, from our
award-winning WiLD SOUR Series, barrel-aged Saint Dekkera® Reserve Sour Ales and Dosvidanya® Russian Imperial Stout, to our many Belgian-style beers, IPA's, other wood-aged beers, classic styles and exciting seasonals. 

Our menus focus on bold flavors that pair well with a wide array of innovative beers for every palate. We are not bound to any particular cooking genre or
beer styles. Rather, our commitment is grounded upon an inventive approach
to classic American-inspired pub fare and global cooking and brewing traditions. Together, we create energetic environments that encourage
our guests to share in the excitement.

DESTIHL has become a brand, but we have not strayed from our roots.
We take pride in our values and will continue to grow and support our local communities. W
e promise to deliver on these uncompromising beliefs.
